Shayma Kamel is an Egyptian Artist born in 1980, whose creative journey unfolds between the bustling streets of Cairo and the cultural hub of Beirut, where she resides.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Ain Shams University (2002). She launched her career with a solo exhibition, Cat-Mona-Night, at Cairo Atelier in 2004, marking the beginning of a unique and flourishing art career.

Kamel’s work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across Bahrain, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, France, the Netherlands, Lebanon, and the United States. Her solo exhibitions, such as Cinderella’s Tales (Mashrabia Gallery, Cairo, 2014) and Faces in Time (Knauer Gallery, Pennsylvania, 2010), showcase her evolving style, while group exhibitions like the Egypt Art Fair (2020) and the Autumn Salon at Sursock Museum (2019) highlight her prominence in the global art scene.
